Singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru<\/strong> is releasing her 7th studio album on June 27th! The title of the album, Hatsukoi<\/em>, means “first love” and recalls her first album released 20 years ago, which was actually titled First Love<\/em>. This album will contain 12 original songs including tie-ups to TV shows, movies, and video games. <\/p>\n

Several of her songs with tie-ups to commercials and trailers have been posted to YouTube. From the clips, it sounds like Hikaru’s songwriting is continuing in the vein of slow dance\/electro-pop. You can preview them by scrolling down below the track list. <\/p>\n
