Singer-songwriter and surfer Lisa Halim<\/strong> is releasing a new (mini) album containing 7 songs. A New Me<\/em> will be in stores on June 5th. Two of the songs will be covers, and the other 5 will be original material for which Lisa has composed and\/or written lyrics. A New Me<\/em> comes 5 years after the artist’s previous album By The Sea<\/em>, where she covered popular songs with relaxing acoustic arrangements.<\/p>\n

The music video to one of the songs, “Setsunai kurai, aishiteta. ~reprise~,” is available on YouTube, and can be previewed below the track list. The song was originally released in 2008 as a single on the Pony Canyon label. The new version on this album, which was released as a digital single last November, is less R&B and more in the acoustic folk style of Lisa’s recent work. <\/p>\n

In addition to singing, the artist is an avid surfer and does promotional work for Roxy, the surfing brand. <\/p>\n
