singer-songwriter bird<\/strong> is releasing a best album on July 24th! bird 20th Anniversary Best<\/em> will contain 28 tracks on 2 discs, spanning her career since her first single “SOULS” was released in 1999. bird’s overall groovy music suggests influences ranging from R&B to reggae, bossa nova, and jazz. <\/p>\n

This compilation will include 18 of her 23 singles, along with several other songs found on several more recent studio albums: “Flowers” and “Konnanimo Blue” from NEW BASIC<\/em> (7th studio album); “Laboratory”, “First Breath”, and “The Secret Room” from HOME<\/em> (8th); “Run” and “Ah” from 9<\/em> (9th); and “Ashita no Kizashi” and “Michi” from LUSH<\/em> (10th). <\/p>\n

Notably, no insert songs are from her earlier albums before 2011 (as she has released previous compilation albums) or her most recent album Namigata<\/em>, which was released in March of this year. The song “Life,” a collaboration between bird and Mondo Grosso, is also being released on this album as a new version. <\/p>\n
