“Superband” JAM Project is releasing a new album to commemorate their 20th anniversary! Titled The Age of Dragon Knights<\/em>, the album will be released on New Year’s Day 2020. The cover art features the members in medieval-inspired costumes, and will contain 15 songs total, including “Freaking out! ~Fukkatsu no Oi Punk~” and “Returner ~Fukkatsu no Legend” which have tie-ups to the ONE PUNCH MAN<\/em> PS4\/X Box One game and the Battle Spirits Saga<\/em> Brave anime, respectively.<\/p>\n

The album release trailer has been posted to the official YouTube channel of Lantis, the group’s label, and can be previewed below the track list. <\/p>\n

From the preview, this album is another entry in the high-energy rock\/power pop style that the 5-member group is known for. The current lineup consists of Kageyama Hironobu, Endoh Masaaki, Kitadani Hiroshi, Okui Masami, and Fukuyama Yoshiki, who are all accomplished artists with their own solo careers. <\/p>\n

Limited quantities of first-press pre-orders of The Age of Dragon Knights<\/em> will come with slipcase packaging at CD Japan. Also in commemoration of their 20th anniversary, the group is releasing a comprehensive “complete box” with all 21 of their prior CD albums (not including The Age of Dragon Knights<\/em>), 3 Blu-ray discs containing music videos and a 2019 live performance, a 300-page book, and special box packaging…all for the mind-blowing price of 45,000 yen (approximately US $410). <\/p>\n
