Tamura Meimi mini-album “Sprout” out on March 20th!

Singer Tamura Meimi is releasing her first solo mini-album on March 20th! The release is titled Sprout and will contain 6 original songs. Neither of her two solo singles is included on this disc. The album release trailer and clips of Meimi performing one of the songs live has been posted to her record label Victor Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, and can be previewed below the track list.

Meimi is a former member of the teen girl idol group “Angerme.” After graduating from the group, she has been starring in musicals and releasing singles that blend pop and theatrical melodies in a combination unlike the bubbly pop of her idol years.

Sprout will be released in 2 editions: a limited edition with a bonus DVD and a regular CD-only edition. The DVD contains clips of 17 songs performed live from Meimi’s recent solo tour titled Meimei Hakusho.
