Aimer releasing two albums on April 10th!

Singer Aimer is following up a string of hit singles and her successful nation-wide Soleil et Pluie (Sun and Rain) Tour with a double album release on April 10th!

Titled Sun Dance and Penny Rain, the contrasting albums will each contain 10 tracks.

Sun Dance will contain more upbeat dance and/or pop songs, including “ONE,” “Hanabira-tachi no March,” and “Omoide wa kirei de.” Penny Rain will contain darker songs, or more emotional ballads, including “I beg you,” “Black Bird,” “Sailing,” “Ref:rain,” and “Hana no uta.” Overall, 9 songs out of the 20 have previously been released on various singles, one song is a re-arranged collaboration track with composer Sawano Hiroyuki (“i-mage” was released on his recent album RE/MEMBER), and the other tracks appear to be new material.

The two albums will be released in 5 editions: an ultra-limited (and ultra-expensive) bundled edition; bundled limited editions A and B, and a regular edition of each album. The ultra-limited edition includes the 2 CD albums, 2 Blu-ray discs with 10 music videos and live footage of 16 songs from her Soleil et Pluie tour, and a “Sun Dance” jigsaw puzzle. Limited edition A contains both CD albums and a Blu-ray disc with 10 music videos, while limited edition B contains a DVD instead of the Blu-ray disc, with the same music videos. The regular editions of Sun Dance and Penny Rain contain the respective album CD only.

For a limited time, pre-orders from most CD shops online include ad posters, while the Amazon Japan pre-order includes jacket-sized stickers.
