Ulfuls new album “U!!!” out on June 26th!!!

Veteran rock band Ulfuls is releasing their 15th original studio album on June 26th! Titled U!!!, the release will contain 10 songs total, of which 3 are recently released digital singles (“Sentimental Fever”, “Rhythm wo tomeru na”, “Kawaru kawaru toki kawareba kaware”) and one is a self-cover of “Ai ga nakucha.” Several of the songs have tie-ups to radio shows and events in Osaka, where the band hails from.
Music videos to “Sentimental fever” and “Rhythm wo tomeru na” are available on the YouTube channel of Victor Entertainment, the band’s label, and can be previewed below the track list.
Vocaloid compilation album “EXIT TUNES PRESENTS GUMissimo from Megpoid” celebrating 10th anniversary of GUMI!

A popular compilation series from EXIT TUNES is set to release the album GUMissimo from Megpoid -10th Anniversary Best- on June 19th! This release commemorates the 10th anniversary of vocaloid megpoid and her mascot GUMI. Megpoid is based upon the voice of seiyuu/singer Megumi NAKAJIMA. The album will contain 35 songs on 2 discs. It will include internet hits “Mosaic Roll,” “Ama no jaku,” “Toumei Elegy,” “Ikasama Life Game”, “Setsuna Trip” and others.

Singer-songwriter majiko is releasing her debut album on a major label this month! Sabishii Hito ga Ichiban Erainda (a mouthful that translates to “Sad People are the Most Respectable”) will be released on June 19th. This album will contain the digital single “Haru, koi sakura” and single “Hibiwareta sekai” (theme song of TV show Genkai Danchi). In addition, “WISH” is the ending theme to the 7SEEDS animated series, and 3 other songs have been released on a single or prior mini album: “Kuruoshii hodo boku ni wa utsukushii”, “Mimizu”, and “Paranoia” (coupling song on the Hibiwareta Sekai single).
TiA new album “Miracle” out now!

Singer TiA released a new album yesterday, on June 5th! Titled Miracle, the album came out 7 years after her previous album Love Attendant. In the interim, TiA moved to New York in 2014 and became a self-proclaimed gospel singer. She has competed in various singing competitions and sung as a member of various gospel choirs in New York.
The lead song is also titled “Miracle.” Overall, 11 tracks are included on this album.
HYDE new album “Anti” out on June 19th!

Rock singer and musician HYDE is releasing a new album on June 19th! Anti is the artist’s 4th original album, and arrives more than 10 years after his previous solo album Faith. Hyde has been busy, releasing 5 new singles since last June, which will all be included on this album. Anti will contain 13 tracks total. Other than the singles, several B-sides, original songs, and a remix of “MIDNIGHT CELEBRATION II” will be included.
Nakajima Megumi commemorating 30th birthday with new album!

Singer and seiyuu Nakajima Megumi turns 30 years old on June 5th, and she is releasing a compilation album to commemorate the occasion. 30 pieces of love is set for a release date of June 5th, and will contain 30 tracks total spanning Megumi’s singing career since her solo debut in 2009. All 15 of Megumi’s singles, some of which were released as double A sides, are included on this 2 disc set. Several B sides and tracks from prior albums are included in the rest of the songs, along with one brand new song, “Love! For Your Love!” which was recorded for this album.
Lisa Halim releasing album “A New Me” on June 5th!

Singer-songwriter and surfer Lisa Halim is releasing a new (mini) album containing 7 songs. A New Me will be in stores on June 5th. Two of the songs will be covers, and the other 5 will be original material for which Lisa has composed and/or written lyrics. A New Me comes 5 years after the artist’s previous album By The Sea, where she covered popular songs with relaxing acoustic arrangements.
Kaji Hideki new album “Goth Romance” out on June 5th.

Singer, composer, and musician Kaji Hideki will release his 18th original studio album on June 5th! Titled Goth Romance, the album will contain 12 tracks total. Hideki has provided English titles for each of the songs in addition to their Japanese titles. Hideki’s recent work seems more reminiscent of Suneohair than gothic, with the relaxed, dreamy lead song “Spray and Fanfare” available for preview on Spotify and Youtube.
An audio preview of “Spray and Fanfare” is on the official YouTube channel of Space Sonic Music, for which Hideki hosts a radio program that airs every Wednesday night.
The Winking Owl releases new album “Thanks Love Letter” on June 5th!

Alternative/emo rock band The Winking Owl is releasing their second full album on June 5th! Titled Thanks Love Letter, the album will contain 12 tracks total, including recent single “Try.” It has been 3 years since the band’s debut album, BLOOMING, in May 2016. The band has also posted dates to their “Thanks Love Letter” Tour in support of the new release, in June and July. Currently, they are on their “Drive Camp” Tour through May.

B’z new album “New Love” out on May 29th.

Legendary rock band B’z is releasing their 21st original studio album on May 29th! The album is titled New Love, and follows their prior album Dinosaur which was released 2.5 years ago.
New Love contains 13 previously unreleased songs, several with tie-ups to commercials and TV shows including “Majestic” (Pocky CM), “Hei, hashiru” (Japanese national rubgy team), “WOLF” (Fuji TV channel drama SUITS), and “Deus” (Suzuki car CM).
