OAU best-of album “Re:New Acoustic Life” out on December 9th!

Folk/pop group OAU is releasing a best hits album on December 9th! Titled Re:New Acoustic Life, the album includes 17 songs spanning 15 years of the band’s history, including 13 re-recorded songs from the era where the band was named OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND. Currently, the band name is OAU, and several songs on this album are from their eponymous album released last year. “Saigo no News” is a cover of a Inoue Yosui song.

Re:New Acoustic Life will be released in 3 editions: 2 limited editions and a regular CD-only edition. Limited edition A contains a DVD and a “Renew Life Set” of goods (recipe book and towels); Limited edition B includes the DVD only. The DVD for both limited editions contains footage of 19 songs performed live at the band’s 2020 “A BETTER LIFE” hall tour on February 12th at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA. Limited quantities of the first-press pre-orders will come with a postcard at CD Japan.
