Singer-songwriter Aimyon is releasing her third original album next month! Oishii Pasta ga Aru to Kiite (official English translation: “Heard That There’s Good Pasta”) will be released on September 9th and contain 12 tracks total, including 5 recent singles and 7 original songs. “HARU NO HI,” “Sayonara no kyou ni,” “Sora no aosa wo shiru hito yo,” “Manatsu no yoru no nioi ga suru,” and “Hadaka no kokoro” are the included singles, and feature tie-ups to movies and TV shows.
MY FIRST STORY new album “V” out August 12th!

Indie alternative rock band MY FIRST STORY is releasing their 6th full length album on August 12th! Titled V, the album will contain 13 tracks total, including recent singles “1,000,000 TIMES” (featuring Chelly of EGOIST) and “Mukoku.” The remaining tracks appear to be all original songs.
Music videos to “Mukoku” and a new song from the album, “UNDERDOG,” are available on the band’s official YouTube channel. Official audio for “1,000,000 TIMES” and a re-arranged version of “Hyena” performed by the vocalist Hiro in one take can be previewed below the track list, along with the music videos.
Ueda Marie new album “Heartbreaker” and live Blu-Ray out on August 26th!

Singer-songwriter Ueda Marie is releasing her third album on a major label in August! Titled Heartbreaker, the album will contain 17 tracks total, including her 7th single, “REVOLVER,” and three recent digital singles, “Stranger,” “I JUST WANNA BE A STAR,” and “WHAT’s.”

Kamishiraishi Mone debut album “note” out on August 26th!

Actress and singer Kamishiraishi Mone is releasing her first album next month! Her debut will be titled note, and will include 10 tracks total. Songs on the album include “Happy End,” “Eien wa kirai,” “Ichiru,” “From The Seeds,” “Yoake wo kuchizusametara,” and 5 original songs. Other than “Eien wa kirai,” which was released on her most recent mini album i, the other 4 mentioned songs were released as digital singles. All 5 of these songs have tie-ups to movies, animated shows, or TV programs.
YORUSHIKA new album “Tousaku” out on July 29th!

YORUSHIKA is releasing their new album on July 29th! Titled Tousaku (“plagiarism”), the duo’s third album will contain 14 songs total, of which 4 are instrumental tracks. The songs “Hana ni bourei” and “Yakou” were used in the animated movie Nakitai Watashi ga Neko wo Kaburu.

Yonezu Kenshi new album “STRAY SHEEP” out on August 5th!

Hit singer-songwriter Yonezu Kenshi is releasing his 5th album on August 5th! STRAY SHEEP will contain 15 tracks total, including the hit singles “Lemon,” “Flamingo,” “Uma to shika,” and “TEENAGE RIOT.”
This album also includes “Umi no yuurei,” released as a digital single and later as a coupling song on the Uma to Shika single, and self covers of “Paprika,” a song he wrote for Foorin, and “Machigai sagashi” which he wrote and produced for Suda Masaki. 6 of the songs, including most of the singles above and the leading track of the album, “Kanden,” feature tie ups to TV shows, movies, and commercials.
LOVEBITES live CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray “Five Of A Kind” out on July 22nd!

LOVEBITES is releasing a new live album this week! The 5-member all-female metal rock band recorded the performance for this release on February 21, 2020, during their live tour in Tokyo. Titled Five Of A Kind, 19 songs from the live event will be released with video footage on DVD and Blu-Ray, in addition to the music album on CD.

DAOKO new album “anima” out on July 29th!

Singer, songwriter, and rapper DAOKO is releasing her 4th album from a major label on July 29th! Titled anima, the album will contain 12 tracks total, including recent digital singles “Ocharaketa yo” and “Otogi no machi.”

Kotone debut album “KYOUSOUKA” out on June 24th!

Teenage singer-songwriter Kotone is releasing her first album in 2 weeks! KYOUSOUKA will be released on June 24th. It will contain 12 tracks total, including her two singles “Ima” and “Shiroku nuritsubuse.” The song “Asu e no tegami” is a cover of Teshima Aoi’s 2016 song. Kotone has had a busy year, as she just graduated from high school this March.

Sakamoto Maaya compilation album “Single Collection + Achikochi” out on July 15th!

Veteran singer, seiyuu, and songwriter Sakamoto Maaya is releasing her 4th compilation album, to be titled Single Collection + Achikochi. This best-of collection will consist of 2 discs and include the 10 singles she has released since 2013, as well as several coupling songs (“Shikisai”, “Kuuhaku”), rare tracks, and other tracks which have not previously been released to CD. The singles and B-sides are on the first disc, and rare tracks on the second, for a total of 25 songs. Many of the songs feature tie-ups to various animated shows.
