Tamura Meimi mini-album “Sprout” out on March 20th!
Singer Tamura Meimi is releasing her first solo mini-album on March 20th! The release is titled Sprout and will contain 6 original songs. Neither of her two solo singles is included on this disc. The album release trailer and clips of Meimi performing one of the songs live has been posted to her record label Victor Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, and can be previewed below the track list.
Meimi is a former member of the teen girl idol group “Angerme.” After graduating from the group, she has been starring in musicals and releasing singles that blend pop and theatrical melodies in a combination unlike the bubbly pop of her idol years.
Yanawaraba new album “Urizun no Uta” out on March 13th!

Island singer-songwriter duo Yanawaraba is releasing a new album this month! Titled Urizun no Uta, in reference to the beginning of summer in the Ryukyuan islands, the album will contain 13 tracks. Nine are new songs and 4 are self-cover tracks.
The music video to the lead song “Kimi ga iru kara” has been posted to their official YouTube channel, and can be previewed below the track list.
New ONE OK ROCK album “Eye of the Storm” out on Feb 13th!

Alternative/emo rock band ONE OK ROCK is releasing their ninth original album on February 16th! Arriving 3 years after their previous album, this collection is titled Eye of the Storm and will contain 13 tracks total. Music videos to three of the songs, “Wasted Nights,” “Stand Out Fit In,” and “Change” have been released to their official YouTube channel.

Singer Renka is releasing her first full studio album on January 23rd! Titled Hoshi no Habataku Yoru wa, this album arrives three years after her major debut with the single “if ~Hitori omou~”, which was used as the theme to the video game Fire Emblem “if”.
In addition to the above song, the album will contain singles “Kingyo Namida,” “Adazakura,” “Don’t Cry”, and “Shirayuki.” Other than the coupling track to her first single, “Egao no Kage,” and a duet version of “if ~Hitori omou~,” 6 new songs will be included for a total of 13 tracks.

MISIA is releasing a new album to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her music career! The album is titled Life is going on and on, and will be released on December 26th. The album will contain her recent single, “AI NO KATACHI” in which she collaborated with HIDE from GReeeeN, and original new songs. She has announced dates for two separate tours to commemorate her 20th anniversary, and launched a special website which you can access here.
Hoshino Gen new album “POP VIRUS” out on Dec 19th.

Hoshino Gen is releasing his fifth studio album next month! POP VIRUS is set for a release date of December 19th, and will contain 14 tracks. Included are his hit songs “Koi”, “Family Song” and “Idea” among new tracks.
Hoshino has been picking up accolades for his songs this year, which have been used in various Japanese TV drama shows. “Koi” was the theme to the TBS show Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu, in which the singer and actor starred; “Family Song” was the theme to Kahogo no Kahoko; and “Idea” was used for NHK’s Hanbun, Ao.
Chara new album “baby bump” out on Dec 19th!

Veteran singer-songwriter Chara is releasing a new album on December 19th! baby bump will be the artist’s 16th original studio album, containing 11 all-new tracks. Chara turned 50 years old at the beginning of this year, but shows no signs of slowing down. She has announced dates in January and February for her 2019 “Baby Bump” tour to promote the album.
BEGIN new album “Potluck Songs” out on Dec 12th!

Okinawan folk band BEGIN is releasing a new album on December 12th. Titled Potluck Songs, the collection will consist of 11 songs, including “BAND wo kumou yo”, and “Egao no manma,” and marks the 20th album released by the band. All of the songs feature tie-ups to radio campaigns, movies, and more, and have not previously been released to CD.
Naoto Inti Raymi new album “7” out on Dec 12th.

Singer-songwriter Naoto Inti Raymi is releasing his seventh studio album, titled “7”, on December 12th. The album will contain 12 songs total, including the three singles “Start To Rain,” “Hibiscus,” and “Shiori” which were released this year.
“7” will be released in 2 editions: a limited edition with a bonus DVD and a regular CD-only edition. The DVD will contain the recorded live performance of Naoto at Zepp Osaka Bayside in 2017, and a making-of clip regarding the album’s jacket art. A “super” limited edition with bonus goods will also be available only to fan club members.

Iconic boy band DA PUMP is releasing a new best compilation album on December 12th! Titled THANX!!!!!!!, the album will contain 16 songs, including the recent viral hit “U.S.A.”, which is a cover of a Eurobeat song from the 90’s. The other songs are mostly the group’s hits from the 90’s that have been re-recorded, including “Feelin’ Good ～It’s PARADISE～”, “Rhapsody in Blue,” and “if…”
