On the front of the porch     the dog’s nose stirs
From the neighbor’s house     drift the sounds of a TV
Absently I am tranquil     at that moment in the afternoon

I let the fickle wind     take me along
From somewhere a nostalgic time     washes over me

In the early afternoon     my waving socks
Fluttering together like good friends     dance in the wind

I wonder about the leisurely clouds drifting along
To what distant unknown city will they go . . . ?

Small white flowers bloomed in the garden [1]
And butterflies from somewhere flutter to them

昼下がりの時　揺れるカーテン
縁側の先の　犬の鼻がうごめく
隣りの家から　もれるテレビの音
ぼんやり心地いい　そんな午後のひととき

気まぐれな風の中に　身をまかせてみる
どこか懐かしい時が　流れてく

ひらひら仲良く　風の中で踊ってる

ゆっくりと流れてゆく　雲はどこまで
遠い知らない町まで　行くのかな．．．

庭先に咲いた白い小さな花へと
どこから飛んできたのか　ちょうちょうさん
